When Jamie Lucy gets lost in the woods, you won't believe who comes to her rescue...

Lost & Found

She kept walking down the hill, hoping to find the trail again and certain that eventually she’d find someone. Or someone would find her.
They would, wouldn’t they? Surely, her group would miss her.
All around her, the forest looked the same. The tall trees with slippery moss-draped limbs that looked like giant fingers poking toward the sky. An occasional group of rocks. And some water trickling down the hillside into a creek bed that snaked below.
But mostly, everything was a sea of green. It was like she was gliding along a carpet with slivers of sunlight randomly peeking through the foliage. She stopped at the side of the trail and drank more water.
And as she paused, she started to get uneasy. The forest was so quiet.
No birds. Nothing. Still.
And that creeped her out.
